The SPS Fire Safety Project concerns the SPS main ring tunnel (building 814), its vertical access shafts (PA/PP) and linking galleries (TA) and the main transfer lines of TT10 (building 806) and TT20 (building 808) and the beam side of the old experiemntal areas ECX4 and ECX5.

Neither the North area transfer tunnels downstream of the TT20 line, nor the the BA7/HiRadMat, nor the TI2 and TI8 transfer lines are are within the scope of the SPS fire safety projects immediate improvements.
